Seven people rescued on the Spokane River

River rescue: Spokane Fire Department water rescue members head upstream after retrieving an inflatable raft near the Bowl and Pitcher in Riverside State Park on Monday. Two adults and five children made it to shore after the raft flipped and were rescued by firefighters. All were reported to be wearing life jackets. (Dan Pelle)
