Vandersloot out
Chicago Sky point guard Courtney Vandersloot will be sidelined for six to 10 weeks with a sprain in her left knee, the team announced Monday. Vandersloot, the former Gonzaga University star, hurt the medial collateral ligament in the final seconds of Chicago’s 73-69 victory over the New York Liberty on Friday night when she ran into a hard screen by Plenette Pierson. The Sky are already without star forward Elena Delle Donne, who is sidelined indefinitely while dealing with a Lyme disease flare up.
