Bettyann was born and raised in Spokane, WA.
She is survived by her parents, Ted and Dorothy Matthews; sister, Sheri Dickinson; brother, Patrick Matthews; a brother-in-law, sister-in-law, three nephews, a niece, and her beloved dog, Mojo.
Bettyann graduated from University High School in 1982.
She then went to school to become a Hair Stylist, and later earned a degree at Apollo College as a Certified Medical Assistant.
She had a passion for animals with a loving spirit.
She would always think of others before herself and was very gracious and genuine to everyone she encountered.
You could see it through her strong and courageous battle with cancer.
Her spirit over shadowed the pain and suffering that took each day of her life.
If you want to give a donation in lieu of flowers, please donate to Scraps or the Spokane Humane Society.
Her memorial service will be July 26th at 11:00 am at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho.
