3: New Edition

A night of new jack swing music. New Edition’s early Jackson 5-inspired material made them the forerunners of two generations of teen pop and laid much of the groundwork for the fusion of hip-hop and R&B. Tony! Toni! Toné! debuted with their Gold album “Who?” which spawned the hit “Little Walter.”

4: ‘My Fair Lady’

Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre kicks off the 2014 season with Lerner and Loewe’s masterpiece, telling the story of cockney Eliza Doolittle as Henry Higgins painstakingly coaches her towards gentility. Featuring the classic tunes “I Could Have Danced All Night” and “On the Street Where You Live.” Directed by Jadd Davis and featuring Patty Duke as Mrs. Higgins.
