SPOKANE – Arbor Crest is hosting the Stage2Stage Music Fest today from noon to 8 p.m.

The lineup includes Pamela Benton, Tracy Kendrick Trio, Monarch Mountain, Alex Mabey and Johnny & the Moondogs.

Area students receive Rotary scholarships

SPOKANE VALLEY – The Rotary Club of Spokane Valley has awarded $1,000 scholarships to six Spokane Valley-area students.

The recipients are: Chanoa Marx from Barker High School, who will attend Evergreen State College; Melaney Lamb from Freeman High School, who will attend Carrington College; Megan Jennen from Barker, who will attend Spokane Community College; Joshua Ramsey from University High School, who will attend Loyola Marymount University; and Haley Feider from Central Valley High School, who will attend the University of Montana.

The group also awarded the Al Stevens Music Scholarship for $1,000 to Drew Keeve from Central Valley High School, who will attend the University Colorado-Boulder.

Car show coming to fairgrounds July 11-13

SPOKANE VALLEY – The Spokane d’Elegance Auto Show takes over the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, 404 N. Havana St., from July 11-13.

The show is held in conjunction with the Early Ford V8 Club Swap Meet.

Expect classic and rebuilt vehicles as well as a Hollywood-themed dinner with a silent and live auction that includes a completely original 1965 Ford Mustang.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 12 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 13.

Admission is $5. Tickets for the dinner on July 12 at 5 p.m. are $125.
