“EXTANT”: If Sandra Bullock can rocket off into outer space, why not Halle Berry? In this suspenseful, futuristic “event” series, the Oscar-winner plays an astronaut, who after a 13-month solo mission, struggles to reconnect with her family, which includes a creepy little robot boy. But there’s a bigger problem: While in space, she somehow became pregnant. Uh-oh. Baby (or alien?) on board. 9 p.m. Wednesday, CBS.

SUNDAY: Can the “Witches of East End” continue to cast a spell over viewers? Season 2 opens with the Beauchamps fearing that a mystical presence entered their world when the portal of Asgard opened. 9 p.m., Lifetime.
SUNDAY: “Survivor” apparently is for wimps. Brace yourself for “Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge.” It’s a reality series that has the wrestling icon pitting elite athletes against everyday men and women in grueling tests of strength, stamina and wit. 8 p.m., CMT.
MONDAY: On “The Bachelorette,” it’s time for Andi to go on the hometown tours and you know what that means: Lots of awkward conversations, squirmy moments, and maybe even some family feuds. We’re so there. 8 p.m., ABC.
TUESDAY: Prime time dishes up more food fights with “Restaurant Startup.” It’s a reality series that has contestants pitching their eatery concepts to a pair of investors with the hopes of making their culinary dreams come true. 7 and 10 p.m., CNBC.
WEDNESDAY: Are you pumped up for “American Muscle”? The new reality series follows tough-talking Detroit gym owner Mike Barwis and his scruffy crew as they train everyone from NFL stars to severely injured people looking to walk again. 9 p.m., Discovery Channel.
WEDNESDAY: The mix of money laundering, police corruption, drug wars and culture clashes continues to make for a very dark crime thriller as “The Bridge” returns for Season 2. Diane Kruger and Demian Bichir star. 10 p.m., FX.
THURSDAY: Does funny run in the family? That’s our hope with “Welcome to Sweden.” It’s a fish-out-of-water sitcom starring Greg Poehler – brother of Amy – as an accountant to the stars who quits his job and moves to Stockholm to be with his sweetheart. 9:01 p.m., NBC.
THURSDAY: That funny lady from “The King of Queens” becomes the latest celebrity to invite prying TV cameras into her life for “Leah Remini: It’s All Relative.” Hey, we’ve all got bills to pay. 10 p.m., TLC.
FRIDAY: It’s a good night to chill out as “Frozen,” the box-office blockbuster from Disney, gets a cable TV airing just so we can hear Idina Menzel sing “Let It Go” for the millionth time. 8 p.m., Starz.
SATURDAY: “Presumed Dead in Paradise” is the intriguing title for a TV film about a trouble teen who becomes embroiled in a dark conspiracy after everyone thinks she drowned while vacationing on a tropical island with her estranged stepmother. 8 p.m., Lifetime.
