Obituary: Andrew, Roberta J. (Griswold)
(Griswold) (Age 77) Roberta was born in Missoula, MT to Guy and Joyce Griswold in 1936, but she spent most of her childhood in Spokane.
Following graduation from North Central HS, she attended WSU and graduated from U of W with a degree in Medical Technology.
She continued to work in that profession before and after marrying F.D.
Andrew (December 1960) until the birth of her son (Mike Andrew, Iowa) and subsequent daughter (Sheri Andrew, CA).
After marrying, she lived in Ohio, Oregon, North Carolina, Washington, and California at different times.
In time, she took additional course work in accounting (at CWU) and eventually became a CPA.
She began her accounting career in Kennewick and continued it full time in California for many years.
After retiring to Bend, OR, she still worked tax season only for the next decade.
Roberta enjoyed quilting and toll-painting as well as other crafts.
She also loved to travel, especially to Northern England and the sacred sites of the Celtic Saints.
She returned to Spokane in 2008 and resided at Riverview Retirement Community until her death (June 2014).
Her parents and sister (Faye Atwood, Kirkland) are deceased.
She is survived by her husband, Andy, children, and two grandchildren (Emily and Jared), plus daughter-in-law (Noelle Andrew, Iowa) and bother-in-law (Jim Atwood, Kirkland).
There will be a family service at some future date.
