Le gives Shadow 1-1 draw at SFCC

Graison Le scored in the 69th minute to give the Spokane Shadow a 1-1 draw with the Vancouver Victory on Sunday in a Evergreen Premier League soccer match played at Spokane Falls Community College.

The Shadow extended their unbeaten streak to eight games, a league record.

Spokane is 6-2-2 with 20 points, good for third place behind league-leader South Sound and second-place Vancouver.

Vancouver took the lead in Sunday’s match in the 31st minute after Matt Beaulaurier was called for a foul in the box. Mirza Ramic converted the penalty kick for Vancouver.

Le’s goal came after Pete Peterson laid a short ball on a free-kick play to Le at the top of the box. Le fired a shot off the left post but was able to convert the ricochet from about 19 yards.
