Obituary: Hegel, William J.

(Age 92) Passed away in Post Falls, Idaho on July 3rd, 2014.

He was born August 30th, 1921 to John and Pearl Hegel at Belgrove, Idaho.

William “Bill” is survived by his loving and caring companion of 16 years, Irene A. Belstad; his sons: Jim Hegel and Clyde (Marilyn) Hegel and daughters: Helen Keller and Bonnie Weaver.

He is also survived by three brothers: Lee (Edna) Hegel, Donnie (Kay) Hegel, and Fred Hegel; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters: Lavina, Florence, Lema, Helen, Rosemary, and Edna; and his brothers Jackie and Jimmy.

William “Bill” Hegel was proud to be a logger his entire life, throughout Washington and Idaho.

He loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing.

Bill and Irene shared a passion for music and dancing and Bill could play numerous musical instruments.

At his request, there will be no services.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
