Donald Sterling says he won’t sell team, calls wife pig

A raging Donald Sterling denounced his wife, her lawyers and the NBA from the witness stand and said he would never sell the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. “Make no mistake today,” Sterling shouted toward the end of his second day of testimony in the trial to determine his wife’s right to make a $2 billion deal to sell the Clippers, “I will never, ever sell this team and until I die I will be suing the NBA for this terrible violation under antitrust.” Sterling said his wife, Shelly, had deceived him, that she was not capable of understanding the family trust, and that he did not authorize her to strike a deal to sell the team. He was followed to the witness stand by Shelly Sterling, who declared her love for him, but says she was convinced he needed to be examined for Alzheimer’s disease.
