In brief: Scenic byway sign to be unveiled Monday

 

ROCKFORD – The new Palouse Scenic Byway sign will be unveiled Monday at the north boundary of the byway at Rockford.

The event will be 10 a.m. Monday at Dye Seed Ranch, 21810 S. State Road 27.

Ninth District Rep. Susan Fagan, Spokane County Commissioner Shelly O’Quinn and former Commissioner Mark Richard are scheduled to attend, as well as council members from Fairfield and Latah.

Register for Valley Youth Soccer by today

SPOKANE VALLEY – Today is the deadline to register with Valley Youth Soccer.

The leagues are open to children 4 to 16 years old.

The indoor Little Kiks program for ages 2 to 4 and some summer camps still have openings as well.
