Education

 Michael Finley has been appointed to the Eastern Washington University board of trustees by Gov. Jay Inslee. Finley earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from EWU and received the Cecil Dryden Alumni Award from EWU’s department of history in 2011. He is a member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation and a two-time chairman of the Colville Business Council.

Engineering

 Bill Ulmonen and John Lampert have joined the Spokane office of DCI Engineers. Ulmonen is a structural senior CAD designer whose projects include the Four Seasons Resort and Residences in Calistoga, California, and the Nu Skin Campus in Provo, Utah. He transferred from the Seattle office and has more than 29 years of experience in the industry, including nine years with DCI. Lampert is a structural project engineer whose projects include the Sartori Bungalows in Torrance, California, Merrill Gardens in Seattle, and the Rockwood Tower and Renovation in Spokane.

Finance

 The board of RiverBank and RiverBank Holding Co. have appointed Kent Schultz to chief credit officer of RiverBank. Schultz has more than 35 years of banking experience, including commercial and retail banking, management, audit and credit underwriting experience.

Hospitality

 Red Lion Hotels Corp. has named Phil Lovas and Mike Castro as regional vice presidents of lodging development as part of the franchise development team. Lovas has more than 10 years experience in the hospitality industry and was previously regional director of franchise development at InterContinental Hotels Group. Castro has been with Red Lion since 2010 and previously served as vice president of brand services. He has 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Nonprofit

 Alvaro Figueroa has joined the Downtown Spokane Partnership and Business Improvement District as the marketing and communications assistant for the University District.

Real estate

 Jurene Phaneuf has joined RE/MAX of Spokane as a broker. Phaneuf was previously with Coldwell Banker Tomlinson. Bradley Boswell, also a broker with RE/MAX of Spokane, has received the Chairman’s Club award from RE/MAX for 2013 sales. To earn this award, Boswell ranked second in closed transactions in Washington among 1,400 RE/MAX brokers.

Sales

 John Jesienouski and Bryan Grayhek have joined the Northwest Enterprise Sales team at CenturyLink. Jesienouski is a senior sales engineer and has been with CenturyLink for 25 years. Grayhek is a senior sales engineer and was previously a network engineer at PAML. He has more than 14 years of experience in information technology.

 Drew Murphy has joined Spokane Rock Products Inc. as a concrete and aggregate salesman.
