Mariners’ Fernando Rodney added to All-Star roster
Seattle Mariners closer Fernando Rodney was added to the the All-Star roster on Saturday.
Rodney will take the spot of Tampa Bay lefty David Price. Because of an illness, Price was pushed back in the Rays’ rotation to Sunday, making him ineligible for the game.
The 37-year-old Rodney, a two-time All-Star, leads the A.L. with 27 saves.
