Obituary: Rudisile, Margaret A.

RUDISILE, Margaret A. Maggie passed on June 29th heading for the next big adventure.

Mom had many interests and especially loved history and old stuff.

She was a collector and had a good eye for it.

She was the queen of “I’m gonna” and a big time procrastinator which was not a good mix!

She enjoyed the thrill of the hunt or finding everything she needed for her zillion projects but never found the time to do them.

Always good intentions and a good heart.

Mom lived in Spokane most of her life and attended Libby Jr. High, Rogers High School, and EWC.

She married her husband Red in 1949 and they owned and operated Best Buy Surplus on East Sprague.

Dad passed away in 1999 and Mom continued running the business until selling it in 2007.

Working the business and raising four kids was a challenge but she was always there for us.

Mom suffered from dementia the last years of her life and it was a tough road.

A lesson learned is to get that bucket list checked off.

We want to thank Peterson AFH and Hospice of Spokane for their kind care of Mom.

Maggie is survived by daughters, Joyce Easley, Diana (Frank) Strasser, Margie (Tim) King, and Nancy (Shawn) Mitchem.

Grandkids and great grandkids.

Private interment will be at a later date.
