Peter Sisich, Anthony Robydek share Lilac lead

Spokane’s Peter Sisich, a Cheney High School graduate, shot a 7-under 65 Saturday and is tied for the lead at 15-under 201 heading into the final round of the 51st Lilac City Invitational at The Fairways Golf Course outside of Cheney.

Anthony Robydek, whose sizzling 10-under 62 on Friday gave him the lead after the second round, shot a 2-under 70 in the third round and is tied with Sisich atop the leaderboard.

Jason Humphrey (69) and Kevin PomArleau (67) are one stroke back. Spokane’s Corey Prugh shot a 66 and is five strokes off the lead.

The tournament concludes today.

Zach Collins’ rookie year with the Portland Trail Blazers was more like two seasons in one. The former Gonzaga Bulldog barely saw the floor in the first two months of the season. He averaged 3.8 minutes per November game. Collins carved out a spot in the rotation in December and his playing time soared into the 14-18 minute range.
