17th Annual Coeur d’Alene Garden Tour - Presented by the Coeur d’Alene Garden Club, featuring five beautiful and diverse gardens both large and small, live music in each garden and artists with garden-related items for sale. Mozart on a Summer’s Eve - Tuesday-Wednesday. 24th annual event. “Moonlight, Sonatas and Songs,” presented by Connoisseur Concerts, directed by Verne Windham, with soprano Phoebe MacRae, cellist Zuill Bailey and classical guitarist David Leisner. Performances 7 p.m. each evening. Ticket holders are invited to arrive as early as 5:30 p.m. to picnic at their reserved table. Dinner may also be ordered directly from Luna, at (509) 448-2383, for delivery to the park at 5:30 p.m. This service is available for reserved table seating only. Art for the Animals Exhibition and Auction - A benefit for River’s Wish Animal Sanctuary. Enjoy a tour of the sanctuary and meet the animals, including horses, pot belly pigs, rabbits and goats. Self-guided tours are from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Enjoy beverages, vegan snacks and live music. Auction items will be on display for a silent bidding auction beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by live auction at 7:30 p.m. Artwork includes jewelry, metal work, paintings, drawings, ceramics and textiles from regional and national artists. Featuring the musical talents of Angela Marie Project, Kathleen Cavender and Greg Loewen, and Carpal Tunnel Trans-Blues Band. Wags to Riches Gala Auction - A fundraising event to benefit SpokAnimal CARE with professional auctioneer Kip Toner assisted by KREM 2’s Laura Papetti and Dana Haynes. 2014 Monroe Street Pub Crawl - We will be making our way to 10-plus pubs on Monroe Street to raise money for Great Shape! Inc. This is a nonprofit that focuses on humanitarian projects in Jamaica.
