Live audience wanted

 

The first two episodes of KJRB’s new variety show “The Nostalgia Radio Hour” are being recorded July 16 at the Glover Mansion, 321 W. Eighth Ave.

Come join the live audience: applaud, laugh and reminisce about the history of the Inland Northwest.

Guests include regional historian Tony Bamonte, veteran broadcaster Tom McArthur, EWU professor of history and Spokane Historical editor Larry Cebula and a few of his public history students and Julia Rinker Miller, whose father Al Rinker left Spokane in 1925 with Bing Crosby to seek their fortunes. Musical guests include house band Hot Club of Spokane and The Riders of the Rockin’ B Ranch.

The episodes will be recorded back-to-back then air July 28 and Aug. 25.

Admission is free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the recording begins at 7. Seating is limited to 100.

“The Nostalgia Radio Hour” is presented by Nostalgia Magazine.
