Obituary: Riddle, Dean G.

RIDDLE, Dean G. (Age 83) Dean Garrey Riddle, aged 83, passed away July 5th with his children by his side.

Dean was born in Four Lakes, Washington to Robert and Nellie Riddle and was the youngest of five children.

He lived his life in the Spokane area and graduated from West Valley High School in 1947.

After high school he married Laura Lancaster and they had their daughter, Gayle.

Dean joined the army and went into basic training in Fort Ord.

He was deployed to Germany and upon his return he married Dorothy Aldrich and had three children, Dennis, Douglas and Donna.

In 1984, Dean married and enjoyed 25 happy years with Bonnie Doud.

Dean worked at Appleway Fuel and retired from Modern Electric after 32 years.

During his life, Dean was a Scout Master where he helped many young men attain the rank of Eagle.

He was a loyal member of the Valley Eagles for 35 years, the VFW, and for 50 years a member of the Grange.

Dean is survived by his son, Doug (wife Tina) and daughter Donna (husband Tim), seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Laura, second wife, Dorothy, third wife Bonnie, and son Dennis.
