He is finally released from the pain and disability he has endured for quite some time.
Bruce was born June 17, 1955 in Red Lodge, Montana to Hugo and Irene Rintala.
After graduating from high school there he served his country in the Army.
He came to live in Spokane, WA where he met Kimberly Helms, his devoted partner for 28 years.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Hugo and Irene, and a sister Gayle Naylor.
Close survivors of Bruce include sisters Karen (Mark) Kent and Judith (Robert) Christiansen; nieces and nephews; his life partner Kimberly; stepdaughters Melanie, Amber and Stephanie; and six grandchildren.

A Veteran Honor Service will be held Tuesday, July 22, 3pm at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, Medical Lake.
