Spokane pitches in to help wildfire victims

Tue., July 22, 2014, midnight

Steady stream of donations: Dustin Reischman, of the American Red Cross, sorts through donated clothing, bedding and nonperishable food items at the KHQ television studio courtyard on Monday. A continuous stream of vehicles lined the streets at Sprague Avenue and Adams Street to drop off donations for victims of the Carlton Complex fire. The Salvation Army will handle material items and the American Red Cross is accepting cash and checks. Emergency donations can also be made directly to American Red Cross Disaster Relief at redcross.org/donate or by calling (800) 733-2767. (Dan Pelle)
