Up on the Roof: A Taste of Unity - Featuring silent auction showcasing local artists, gift certificates, gift baskets from favorite local businesses, raffle drawings, plus a sampling of local cuisine, a wine bar and live entertainment. Live bands playing on the rooftop. Proceeds raised will be used to support Unity in the Community and the purchase of school supplies that are given out at Unity on Aug. 16 in Riverfront Park. 2014 Master Gardener Garden Tour and Dinner – The WSU Pend Oreille Master Gardeners invite you for an afternoon viewing beautiful gardens and farms east of Newport, with an optional garden dinner offered after the tour. This year’s tour is in the Priest River area of the Pend Oreille Valley. Dinner must be paid for by Friday. Visit the extension office or http://ext100.wsu.edu/pendoreille.
