Obituary: Wigley, Inez Inema

WIGLEY, Inez Inema Was born November 27, 1934 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Roy Samuel Isbell and Opal Mae Jones and passed away July 20, 2014 in Spokane Valley, WA.

She was a devoted sister to Mildred Malone, Donnie Isbell, Cleo Barnett, J.V.

Isbell, and Waymon Isbell; beloved wife to Vester Lockhart Wigley; mother to Debra Lee Hennes; and grandmother to Vanessa Yergens, Miranda Hennes, and Vania Hennes.

Inez was beyond her years in her capacity to love from a mother’s perspective when she met her Army medic husband of 38 years on October 1, 1952.

After having their daughter, they moved to Spokane, Washington and took up residence.

Inez is remembered by neighbors as being a friendly, warm woman who would always welcome company for coffee, homemade cookies, and a good chat.

She was preceded in death 24 years ago by her husband and by all but one of her siblings, Cleo Barnett of Calera, Oklahoma.

Inez will be remembered as a delicate gardener, precise cook and baker, and mostly as a woman who loved to share her love with others.

We will always remember and love you Grandma!

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 4:30 pm at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Valley Church of Christ, 17221 East Broadway, Spokane Valley, WA 99016.
