Age 96
Lorraine was born on December 16, 1917 in St. James, Minnesota.
Lorraine married Phillip A. Schaffer and they enjoyed many years together before his passing in 1967.
A 61 year resident of Spokane, Lorraine worked for the United States Postal Service for many years.
She also volunteered for over 10 years at the Spokane City Police Department.
Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Margaret Johnson and Susan Schaffer both of Pendleton, OR; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Laurette DeLay and her husband, Phillip.
A memorial service will be on Friday, July 25, 2014 beginning at 1:00PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA.
