Over 13,000 still without power

From staff reports
Over 13,000 customers of Avista or Inland Power are still without power in the Spokane area following Wednesday’s storms. Avista has yet to restore power to nearly 8,000 customers as of Friday afternoon. Almost 5,600 Inland Power customers are still without electricity. The companies report most customers should have services by Saturday, with the exception of Riverside Mobile Home Park, due to extensive damage to electrical infrastructure, according to Greater Spokane Emergency Management. Most outages are in north Spokane and Deer Park areas.
