Slow down, drivers

OK, Spokane, where did you hide all the driving manners we were brought up with? I am appalled at the manners of the drivers nowadays, mostly young women who tend to drive well over the speed limit and do not signal if turning.

We have had several near misses lately, and we just throw up our hands and go about our business but not before scratching our heads a little. Spokane used to be one of the most courteous places to drive. Well, not anymore. I am really ashamed of what has become of our fair city.

The young women are not the only ones to blame either. The young men tend to be a little on the fast side, like 15-20 miles per hour over the speed limit. We have seen some that are faster than a ninja warrior.

Please, slow down and save lives, including your own. It’s not worth the extra two minutes you might get there earlier.
