Obituary: Klump, Dale Thomas

Age 82

KLUMP, Dale Thomas (Age 82) Went to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 12th, in Mesa, Arizona, his part-time home, after a short battle with Cancer.

Born July 4th, 1932 in Oakley, Michigan, he made Spokane his home after completing his service in the U.S. Air Force.

He retired after 31 years with the Coca Cola Bottling Company.

Shortly after retiring he began spending the majority of each year in Mesa, Arizona with his wife of 51 years, June.

An active and athletic man, Dale enjoyed golf, bowling, softball, bocce ball, pool, and any other sport he ever tried.

He was also a frequent and talented card player and woodworker.

Dale was a faithful man and actively served the church in both homes.

He was a wonderful and cherished husband and father, survived by the love of his life, June Klump; siblings Gene Brown, Louis Klump (Liz), Harold Klump; children Debbie Ellsworth, Ron Klump (Debby), DJay Hunt (Jeff), Tom Klump (Wendy); stepchildren Dave Cram (Joan), Chuck Cram (Janet), Kerri Rodkey (Paul); 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He was pre-deceased by his son Don Klump.

A celebration of Dale’s life will be held Friday, August 1st, at 1:00 p.m. at Opportunity Presbyterian Church, Spokane.
