New Ace opens in Valley
Bruce Barany, whose family runs both the General Store and an Ace Hardware store in Spokane Valley, has added another area retail business.
Argonne Ace Hardware and Sporting Goods opened in late June next to Barany’s Ace store, at 1330 N. Argonne Road.
The new store, focusing primarily on water sports and outdoor gear, moved into the adjoining, previously empty 5,000 square feet.
Loveland opens new bike shop
Steve Loveland, a longtime Spokane bike shop owner, has opened Spokane Bicycle Co. at 125 S. Stevens St.
Loveland is the owner and sole employee. The shop sells bicycles and accessories and provides bike repairs and service.
He’s renting space from property owner John Emacio. Hours are 1 1 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
Eagle Home Mortgage grows
Eagle Home Mortgage, of Coeur d’Alene, will relocate in August to 2,200 square feet in the top floor of The Spokesman-Review building at 608 Northwest Blvd. in Coeur d’Alene.
Brokering the lease were Marc Mowrer, Casey Brazil and Chris Schreiber of Kiemle & Hagood.
Acupuncture practice expands
Colleen Smith, owner of Point of Origin Acupuncture, will open a second location on Aug. 1, occupying 600 square feet of space in the Sixth Avenue Medical Building, 508 W. Sixth, in Spokane. The business will also maintain its current Spokane Valley location, at 12211 E. Broadway, Suite 2.

Dental clinic to open
Dr. Ronald Will and his wife, Karen Will, are opening Mt. Spokane Dental at 14017 N. Newport Highway.
The couple operated a Walla Walla dental practice for the past 12 years, until deciding to relocate to Spokane.
They expect to open the 1,900-square-foot office in mid-August.
