“Pete” as he preferred to be called, was born on December 15, 1919 in Spokane, WA to Robert and Nina Petersen.

He went into the “3 C’s”, Civilian Conservation Corps, under the Roosevelt administration as a young man.

Raising his stepson Jack was no easy task but Pete persevered.

Pete retired from Kaiser Aluminum in 1983 after 27 years of service.

He loved creating things with his hands, especially for his family.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte, son and daughter-in-law Jack and Janet Brucick, numerous nieces, nephews and their children.

He will be missed by those who loved him.
