“Gypsy” Benefit Performance for Partnering for Progress - A portion of funds raised from the June 4 production will benefit Partnering for Progress’ mission to bring health, education and water to residents in developing countries. Artisans Golf Tournament - This is the main fundraising event of the year for The Artisans, supporting job development, employment support and employment opportunities in the community for persons with disabilities. MarmotFest - The second annual KYRS summer music festival. This all-day family-friendly event includes a community village of nonprofit booths, beer garden, food court and kids activities. Lineup: Rogue Wave, Seattle’s The Hoot Hoots and Fly Moon Royalty, Boise’s Marshall Poole, Tri-Cities’ Vaughn Jensen Band, and local favorites Folkinception, Floating Crowbar and the Angela Marie Project. Mozart on a Summer’s Eve - July 15-16. Presented by Connoisseur Concerts, directed by Verne Windham. The concert theme is “Moonlight, Sonatas and Songs” and includes music of W.A. Mozart, Manuel de Falla, Villa Lobos, Schubert and Rodrigo. Featuring soprano Phoebe MacRae, cellist Zuill Bailey and classical guitarist David Leisner. Performances 7 p.m. each evening.
