Obituary: Howe, Janet M. (Pelfrey)
Age 77
She was born December 23, 1936 to Chester and Thelma Pelfrey in Moscow, Idaho.
She attended school there and graduated from Moscow High School in 1955.
She married Elwood Howe in 1960.
Janet went to college and received many degrees.
Janet worked in the supermarket checker industry for many years as a checker, teacher and manager.
She worked for Safeway in the corporate office for many years.
Janet and Elwood loved to travel in their motorhome and spent their retirement years wintering in Yuma, AZ and the summers at their home in Coeur d’Alene, ID.
Janet volunteered many hours for Hospice.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Kenneth.
She is survived by her two sons, Kent and Brian; brother, James, all of Spokane WA; and her sister, Patty of Post Falls, ID.
Janet had four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held on June 6, 2014 at the family home.
