Obituary: Kiser, Betty June

Age 86

KISER, Betty June 86 Years of Life Betty June Kiser was born on March 19, 1928 in Lewistown, Montana, and entered into rest on May 26, 2014.

She was the daughter if Ivan Merle and Edna May (Klingler) Gordy.

She was the oldest of five children, including Donna, Eugene, Sandy and Michael.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Lowell Adelbert Kiser.

They are survived by their children, Cynthia (Darwin) Berry, Bruce (Ann) Kiser, Debbie (Terry) Steinacker, Nancy (Bob) McKechnie, Anita (Art) Rickey, David (Ellen) Kiser; 27 grandchildren (13 with spouses); 27 great-grandchildren; and a multitude of extended family.

Betty resided at Sunrise Assisted Living in Sandy, UT for the last two and one-half years.

We greatly appreciate the wonderful care she received while there.

Betty was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Betty loved being the matriarch of her large family.

She loved having occasion to visit with her extended family and friends as well.

Betty loved music.

She was a wonderful pianist and loved to sing.

She loved camping and nature.

Betty was skilled as a seamstress as well as crocheting and quilting.

She was a much-loved woman and will be greatly missed.

There will be a public visitation for family and friends at the Riverside Church Building, Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. Funeral services honoring Mrs. Kiser will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the Riverside Chapel at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Chattaroy, WA with Bishop James Palmer, Jr. presiding.

Entombment will follow in the Temple Court Mausoleum at Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane, Washington.
