Truth under siege

“During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act” – George Orwell, “Animal Farm” and “1984.”

We are in an Orwellian crisis in America. A majority of Americans don’t trust the federal government because they don’t believe the federal government. This is made possible because most in the “elite media” fail to report, or they distort any news that is negative about our current administration or the liberal agenda.

Many universities practice conservative discrimination, with the faculty in history, humanities and political science from the academic left. Distinguished people are being disinvited as commencement speakers at several major universities because they fail to meet the standards of some far-left students and professors. The next step is to ban certain books and appoint a political correctness committee.

In a tyrannical government, there is only news that supports the state. In the U.S., there would not be another side of the news without journalists like Charles Krauthammer, Mona Charen and George Will.
