SkyFest was outstanding

I had the opportunity to attend SkyFest at Fairchild Air Force Base. It was an outstanding experience in all regards.

The Thunderbirds, the operational Air Force aircraft on display, the Cascade Warbirds, the crowds and, of course, the weather, were all great. The best part was the positive professionalism of all the Air Force personnel and civilian volunteers who hosted and coordinated a wonderfully seamless event.

That these fine people are always standing by to help protect us by projecting power to where it’s needed for whatever purpose is something we all need to be grateful for.

Thank you, Fairchild, for a fine weekend. Thank you all for your service. I’m very glad to have you as our neighbors.
