Johnson ready to lead
Mary Lou Johnson is a very qualified candidate running against Al French for Spokane County commissioner. She is new to politics and doesn’t have the name recognition that French has, but before you vote, you should take a good look at what she can do for you and for Spokane County.
Johnson graduated first in her class at Gonzaga Law School and since then has had nearly two decades of experience in the justice system in Spokane. She also had an earlier career as a public health nurse and educator. Johnson is particularly skilled at bringing together diverse groups of people to solve community issues.
Also, Johnson has been a leader with Spokane Alliance and many other local volunteer groups. Her husband is a physician, and they raised their children in Spokane during the 35 years they have lived here.
If elected county commissioner, I guarantee you will see Johnson’s nose to the grindstone.
