Obituary: Buchanan-Burns, Anna K.

Buchanan-Burns, Anna K. (Age 87) Anna Kathryn Buchanan-Burns, 87, of Kennewick, WA, died May 27, 2014 at the Heart Adult Family Home in Pasco, WA.

She was born in Glen Ullin, N.D., and was a former resident of Spokane, WA and Priest Lake, ID.

She lived in Kennewick since 2008.

She was a retired telephone operator with AT&T.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Gene M. Buchanan and John R. “Ray” Burns; her brother, Franklin Schafer; and her granddaughter, Jaime J Hagarty.

She is survived by her sister, Cecelia Lenzi of Puyullup, WA; brother, Henry “Bud” Schafer of Lakewood, WA; her son, Larry Buchanan of Desert Hot Springs, CA; and her daughter, Judy Hagarty of Kennewick.

She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grand- children and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, at Pines Cemetery Mausoleum at 10:00a.m.

in Spokane and Evergreen Cemetery, Priest River, ID at 3:00p.m.
