Obituary: Wills, George Mackenzie

WILLS, George Mackenzie Our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away with family by his side on February 4, 2014 at Hospice House in Coeur d ‘Alene, ID.

He was born May 5, 1938 in Bakersfield, California.

His parents were George and Flora Wills.

George served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 - 1957, where he achieved the rank of Senior Airman and was honorably discharged.

He was a selfless man of quiet strength who loved animals, from his own dogs to the occasional stray and the many backyard deer that came for a meal.

He lovingly and tirelessly cared for his wife Connie during his time here, and carefully planned for her continued comfort in his absence.

George is survived by his wife, Connie Ryan, of Athol, ID, son Don Wills, of San Pedro, CA, daughters Julia Bosch of Arroyo Grande, CA and Leah Golightly of Ragley, LA, four grandchildren and his beloved dog, Mia, who never left his side.

A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will be held on June 21st at 11:00am at the Sunrise Shelter in Farragut State Park with Potluck immediately following.

All are welcome to attend.
