Silver: Sterling hasn’t signed off yet

SAN ANTONIO – NBA Commissioner Adam Silver says Donald Sterling still hasn’t signed off on the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers, but believes the process is nearing completion.

Sterling still hasn’t agreed to drop his lawsuit against Silver or the NBA. Silver says Sunday he understands the banned owner’s frustrations, but adds that “I think it’s over.”

Silver also says before Game 2 of the NBA Finals that there is “absolutely no possibility” of rescinding the lifetime ban or $2.5 million fine he handed down to Sterling following his racist remarks.

Silver is satisfied that the air conditioning problems from Game 1 were fixed.
