Obituary: Betts, Marilyn J. (Watts)

(Watts) (Age 77) Of Medical Lake, WA died on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from complications following a stroke she suffered on April 5th., 2014.

She was born on October 25, 1936 to Howard and Esther Watts in Pomona, Kansas.

She moved from Kansas to Washington State in 1946.

She grew up in Richland, Washington and graduated from Columbia High School.

She moved to Medical Lake in 1967, residing on Silver Lake with her husband Dick and family.

She is survived by her husband Richard W. Betts, six children, 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three sisters, many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and her beloved dogs Sophie and Max.

A memorial service for friends and family will be held to celebrate her life on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 6:00 pm at CHENEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1632 W. First Street, Cheney, WA.

Private internment will be at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA.
