Seattle Pacific shooting victim out of hospital
SEATTLE – A 19-year-old woman who was severely wounded in last week’s fatal shooting on the Seattle Pacific University campus has been released from a hospital.
Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Susan Gregg said Sarah Williams was discharged Friday.
In a statement released earlier this week, the young woman said she was “healing and getting stronger” but still has a long way to go to a full recovery.
The June 5 shooting killed 19-year-old Paul Lee and wounded another student, Thomas Fowler. Prosecutors have charged Aaron Ybarra with first-degree murder, attempted murder and assault.
