Communications

 Klündt | Hosmer has hired Shannon Hill as an account/traffic coordinator and promoted Heather Zangara to accounting/office manager. Hill has more than two years of experience in this role with a local advertising agency. Zangara was previously the account/traffic assistant and coordinator.

Education

 John Reganold, the Washington State University Regents Professor of Soil Science and Agroecology, received the 2014 Growing Green Award from the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Berkeley Food Institute for his work as a sustainable food and farm educator. He was one of four individuals selected nationwide for the award. His contributions include creating one of the nation’s largest certified-organic teaching farms at WSU.

 Adam Austin has been named corporate outreach manager for Community Colleges of Spokane’s Center for Workforce and Continuing Education. Previously, he served as the communications officer for the Capital Region Workforce Investment Board in Henrico County, Virginia.

 Eric Johnson has received the 2014 Presidential Leadership Award from Whitman College in recognition of his lifetime of accomplishments and service to Whitman College and the local community. Johnson is a 1972 graduate of Whitman and is a private practice physician at Deaconess Hospital. He served as a colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as part of the 446th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, serving as a critical care air transport team leader in Operation Iraqi Freedom as well as Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He has completed several humanitarian missions worldwide.

Health care

 Sanjay Logani, a pathologist with Incyte Diagnostics, has been elected as an alternate delegate to the Washington State House of Delegates for the College of American Pathologists for a three-year term. Logani is board-certified in cytopathology, anatomic and clinical pathology with subspecialty expertise in gynecologic pathology. Prior to joining Incyte, he was an associate professor in the department of pathology at Emory University.

Human resources

 Carli Lamb has joined Humanix as an account manager/recruiter. Lamb has experience in communications, customer service and teaching. She earned an undergraduate degree from Seattle Pacific University and a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix.

Nonprofit

 Tracy Poindexter-Canton has been elected to KYRS Thin Air Community Radio Station’s board of directors. She will serve a three-year term. Previously, she hosted the show “All Things African-American in the Arts” and served as a volunteer programmer.

Real estate

 Sally Olsen has joined Keller Williams Realty Spokane.

 Nate Dunham has joined RE/MAX Inland Empire as a broker. Previously, he was with John L. Scott in Spokane.

Retail

 Etailz has hired Nick Wall as a drop ship merchandising specialist, Jenn Johnston as a content management clerk and Adam Palmer as an international product analyst.

 Sarah Medina has been named manager of Great Floors’ granite production center. Medina has served in administrative and management roles with the company since 1998.
