Obituary: Bowman, Betty Louise
Age 82
She was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Roy and Marjorie Chappell on October 16, 1931, where she attended school through graduation.
As a young girl, Betty had a talent for breaking horses.
Betty lived in many places throughout the country as she raised her four sons.
She was a true caregiver and cared for others all her life, whether in care facilities or in their homes.
She was a hard working, caring mother that made friends with her clients just by being who she was.
She was a strong and determined woman, and a member and supporter of the DAV.
She will be missed by many who knew her.
Betty was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Bausch.
She is survived by a brother, Don Chappell; and four sons: Brad (and Tammy), Greg (and Wanda), Mark (and Janet), and Mike Bowman.
She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday June 28, 2014 at 11:00am Ball & Dodd Funeral Home in Spokane, WA.
