‘Therapy’ destructive

Now that the Texas Republican Party has approved “reparative therapies” for gay folks, I think they should also consider promoting praying away left-handedness, eye color and height, and any other “lifestyles” desperately in need of healing.

What business do those scientists in the American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association have in saying that their research shows that reparative therapies are not only ineffective, but also dangerous and damaging, especially to youth?

Better to follow some debatable interpretation of Scripture and have more self-loathing and suicide than to allow people to value themselves as they are. I’m sure that’s what Jesus would recommend.
