Police jailed a woman suspected of helping a man in connection with a 2012 homicide in the West Central neighborhood.
Officers found Alicia Sweet on Monday night at a residence in the 1400 block of North Lincoln Street. She is tied to Bud Ray Brown, a 31-year-old man who police say shot and killed David “Brandon” Deponte in December 2012.
Deponte’s body was found in an alley with multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
Sweet is suspected of providing help to Brown after the killing.
