County schools receive performance awards
The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction has recognized several schools in Spokane County with Washington Achievement Awards.
Presented at NEWESD 101, schools were acknowledged as being top performers in six categories: Overall Excellence, High Progress, Reading Growth, Math Growth, Extended Graduation Rate (awarded to high schools and comprehensive schools) and English Language Acquisition.
