Spokane couple’s loose pit bull bites boy at fishing pond

BURBANK, Wash. — A pit bull dog ran up and bit an 8-year-old boy on the arm Wednesday as he arrived at a pond in Burbank to go fishing with his father and cousin.

The father, Erik Magnuson, says he pulled his gun and yelled at the dog’s owners, a couple from Spokane, who took their pet and drove off.

KEPR reports Walla Walla sheriff’s deputies stopped their car and gave them a ticket. They were allowed to keep the dog.
