Hockey Fest - Top hockey players of the past and present will to raise money for area youth hockey programs and play an exhibition game. The lineup includes Wayne Gretzky, Adam Deadmarsh, ref Dennis LaRue, Guy Carbonneau, Keith Carney, Brenden Morrow, and Tyler Johnson. The event will include a public skate and skating clinic. The Big Kahuna Benefit Golf Tournament - Proceeds from this eighth annual event go to Spokane Cystic Fibrosis patient Gina Moriarty’s Children’s Organ Transplant Association fund, for expenses related to a double lung transplant. Presented by Northwest Line Builders and Benefiting the Breathe for Gina Fund. Entry includes 18 holes at Sun Dance, golf cart, unlimited range balls, swag bag, two raffle tickets, lunch, post-tournament cocktail party plus drinks on the course and afterward. MarmotFest - The second annual KYRS summer music festival includes a community village of nonprofit booths, beer garden, food court and kids activities. Lineup: Rogue Wave, Seattle’s The Hoot Hoots and Fly Moon Royalty, Boise’s Marshall Poole, Tri-Cities’ Vaughn Jensen Band, and local favorites Folkinception, Floating Crowbar and the Angela Marie Project. 17th Annual Coeur d’Alene Garden Tour - Presented by the Coeur d’Alene Garden Club, featuring five gardens, live music and artists with garden-related items for sale. Mozart on a Summer’s Eve - July 15-16. 24th annual event. “Moonlight, Sonatas and Songs,” presented by Connoisseur Concerts, directed by Verne Windham, with soprano Phoebe MacRae, cellist Zuill Bailey and classical guitarist David Leisner. Performances 7 p.m. each evening. Ticket holders are invited to arrive as early as 5:30 p.m. to picnic or have a potluck at their reserved table.
