Obituary: Delbuono, Rosemarie (Garcea)

DELBUONO, Rosemarie (Garcea) Beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Rosemarie passed away peacefully on February 28, 2014 at 11 am.

Rosemarie was born in Spokane, Washington at Sacred Heart Hospital on March 4, 1925.

She graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1944.

She later married Arthur Delbuono on October 4, 1945.

Rose and Arthur resided in Kellogg, Idaho from 1946 to 1954.

They moved to Spokane for their remaining years.

Rose and Art were married for 69 years.

Rose was preceded in death by her brother Nick and sister Catherine.

She is survived by her husband Arthur, daughters Paulina Rauenzahn (Ron) and Janice Karas (Joe).

Her grandchildren Michael Fredrick (Lisa), Gina McAuliff (Eric), Anthony Karas (Amy), A.J.

Karas and Arthur Karas; great-grandchildren Colton McAuliff, Berkley Fredrick, and Hayden McAuliff, and a sister Annette Cramer, along with several nieces and nephews.

Rosemarie was a sports enthusiast.

She was a past member of the Liberty Lake Women’s Golf Club, bowling leagues and later the senior center exercising programs.

Rose will be missed by her family and friends.

A special thanks to Sacred Heart Hospital, Guardian Angel Homes, and Gentiva Hospice.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 503 N. Walnut, Spokane Valley, WA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions are to be made to St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
