PRAETORIUS, Debra A.

Passed away peacefully at her home on February 26, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.

Debra was born on August 4, 1958 in Millington, TN.

Debra was a member of the Odessa VFW Ladies Aux., former Ducks Unlimited, Odessa Alumni Assoc., and “The HAGS”.

Debra enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, the ocean and beach, boating, camping, bowling, kayaking, river rafting and her dog Aussie.

She played for the Odessa’s Women’s Softball team for 30 years.

She enjoyed attending Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure with her team “GOT PINK?”.

Debra is survived by her husband Lee Praetorius, two children Britney (Lance) Wagner, Cody Praetorius and her father Wayne Frederick.

Her three brothers Michael (Sherri) Frederick, Dennis (Polly) Frederick, David (Brenda) Frederick and her sister Teresa Wheeler.

Her nieces and nephews Jolene (Andy) Keith, Josh (Kathy) Frederick, Natasha (Justin) Parr, Whitney (Kory) Kolterman, Jordan Frederick, Elexa (Andrew) Record, Kaitlyn Wheeler, Morgan Frederick and Krystin Robbins and six great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother Violet Frederick.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Odessa Cemetery, Odessa, WA with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Church, Odessa, WA with Pastor Jon Hayashi, officiating.
