Four corners: Eastern Washington Eagles

COMING UP: Tonight vs. Idaho State, 6:05; Saturday vs. Weber State, 2:05 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The Eagles are handicapped by the loss of versatile point guard Drew Brandon, but figure to pound away with forward Venky Jois (79 points, 35 rebounds in his last four games) and post Martin Seiferth (39 points, 28 boards in the same span). ISU counters with Chris Hansen (16.7 ppg, 41 percent from 3-point range) and guards Andre Hatchett (15.2 ppg in Big Sky play) and Tomas Sanchez (14.7 ppg, 4.0 apg). Two days later, Weber State brings in stellar shooting guard Davion Berry (20.1 ppg, 42 percent from three) and post Joel Bolomboy, the league’s best rebounder at 11 a game.
