Thank you for rescuing my mother

Here is my story of appreciation: This is a letter of extreme appreciation and thanks to the two Class A citizens who essentially rescued my 83-year-old Mother Sunday morning around 1:30 a.m.

They discovered her wandering aimlessly on Seven Mile Road in the icy temperatures wearing only a night gown and tennis shoes. They stopped, loaned her a coat, kept her warm and called 911.

This act of kindness is a display of humanity that is certainly honorable and welcome in a world where only self-concern seems to be top priority. At the very least, this kindness will be repaid through karma.

We have your coat and would like to return it to you. Please contact me at the email address below.

To the Nine Mile firemen that brought Mom home: Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your service to our community is so very much appreciated.
